One electrocuted, 3 hurt in tanker-car collision

RAJOURI, Jan 21:   A worker of  coal mines at Kalakote was electrocuted while three persons were injured in car-tanker collision near Sunderbani  today.
A police spokesman said that a worker of J&K Minerals Ltd, Jia Lal, son of Amar Nath was found dead in his quarter at Mogla in Kalakote this morning. He was lying dead near a heater and had received electric burns.   The body was sent to Kalakote hospital and later landed over to the family after completion of legal formalities by police.
Meanwhile,  three persons  were injured after  an oil  tanker No. JK02AC/ 8864 met head – on- collision with a car No. JK21-A/ 1412 near Bhamla in Sunderbani this evening. The injured identified as Pankaj Kumar, son of Satpal of Gadigarh,  Sourabh   Kumar, son of Bharat Bhushan of Sunderbani   and Rahil Kumar, son of Naresh Kumar of Gandhi Nagar,   Jammu  were removed to  Sunderbani hospital  and later referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
