KATHUA, May 30: One person died after he was hit by a motorcycle at Raj Bagh today. He was identified as Bihari Lal, 65, son of Mangu Ram of Mirpur Rajbagh.
As per reports, Bihari Lal was crossing the road at Rajbagh when he was hit by a motor cycle bearing number JK08B 0184 and was injured. The motorcyclist fled from the spot leaving the two -wheeler behind. The critically injured Lal was taken to Kathua Hospital where from doctors referred him to GMC, Jammu in a serious condition. However he succumbed to his injuries in the way.
The reports said that Lal had got serious internal injury. The Raj Bagh Police has registered a case under Section 304 but the motor cyclist was not arrested till last reports came in.
