JAMMU, Sept 18: One person died while another suffered injuries in the collision of a bike and a scooty here today, police said.
The two-wheelers collided with each other around 9:30 Pm near Mouni Baba temple area of Panjtirthi, resulting in death of one person and injuries to another, they said.
While the deceased, who is around 40-year-old, was not identified by the press time, the identity of the injured was established as Rahul Verma (26) son of Vinod Verma of Kachhi Chawni, who is undergoing treatment at Government Medical College Jammu.
No FIR was lodged when this report was filed since police were busy with the legal formalities at the hospital.
Meanwhile, further investigations in the case are underway.
