RAJOURI, Feb 5: A youth was killed while two others were injured in two separate road accidents in district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that 17-year-old Vishal Choudhary, son of Vijay Choudhary, resident of Handan area of Nowshera was killed on the spot after his scooty ( JK-11-0913) was hit by an Army vehicle on Nowshera-Jhangar road this afternoon. While the driver escaped along with vehicle from the spot, the dead body of the youth was shifted to SDH Nowshera by police. The police registered a case and started investigation.
Meanwhile, two persons were injured when a Tata Mobile vehicle No. JK20/8192 skidded of the road and fell into a gorge at Bathuni on Sunderbani-Rajouri highway today. The injured driver Mohd Arif and his associate Mohd Javed residents of Khanyal in Thannamandi were removed to GMC Hospital, Rajouri. The police has taken cognizance.
