One dies, 136 test +ve in J&K; 27 in Ladakh

JAMMU/SRINAGAR/ LEH, Dec 19: One person died of COVID-19 and 114 tested positive in Kashmir division today while 22 fresh cases were reported from Jammu region and 27 in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Among 22 cases in Jammu, eight were registered in Jammu district, five Doda, four Ramban, three Poonch and one each in Samba and Reasi districts.
Forty two persons recovered from the virus leaving number of active positive cases in Jammu division to 341.
Among 27 cases in the UT of Ladakh, 15 were recorded in Leh district and 12 in Kargil.
Ladakh now has 181 active positive cases including 160 in Leh and 21 in Kargil.
Meanwhile, one person today succumbed to the COVID-19 infection in Kashmir.
With the fresh death, the toll has reached 4512 in J&K including 4511 in Kashmir.
Those who tested positive include 50 in Srinagar, Baramulla 19, Budgam 10, Pulwama 4, Kupwara 10, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 7, Ganderbal 11 and Kulgam 1.
Moreover, 142 COVID-19 patients recovered during the time, including 100 from Kashmir.
So far, 333864 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 1451 including 1110 in Kashmir.
