One dead, 2 kept in isolation for Coronavirus like symptoms at Leh hospital

JAMMU, Feb 20: The SNM Hospital Leh has isolated two patients for having Coronavirus like symptoms after death of one of the patients with similar indications.
An official communiqué of the Medical Superintendent, SNM Hospital Leh addressed to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Leh stated that two patients have been isolated for showing Coronavirus like symptoms.
‘‘One of the patient has been kept in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) isolation and another in general isolation,’’ the communiqué said.
It added that one patient hailing from village Phyang in Leh district, had similar symptoms and he expired earlier.
The Medical Superintendent SNM Hospital Leh has requested the Chief Medical Officer Leh to direct the District Health Officer to send the samples of the patients for further Laboratory investigations.
