UDHAMPUR, Oct 17: On 20th day of the ongoing operation to retrieve dead bodies of the missing persons in landslide hit Saddal village of Pancheri block, one more corpse was recovered today.
Identity of the deceased has been established as Jamitu Ram (85), who along with his three other family members and several other villagers, was buried alive in the massive landslide on September 7.
Bodies of the remaining three family members, 16 year old Rinku Devi, daughter of Kannu Ram; 6 year old Kavita Devi, daughter of Kannu Ram and Ghasu Ram (38), son of Jamitu Ram, were recovered on October 14.
So far, total 27 dead bodies have been recovered from the Saddal village while 13 persons are still missing under the debris of massive landslide.
