Omar orders inquiry into Jammu hotel fire

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today ordered an inquiry into the fire incident in a Jammu hotel that left four persons dead and several injured.
“Deputy Commissioner Jammu has been ordered to enquire into the circumstances that caused the fire and to ascertain responsibility, if any, for the same,” Omar wrote on microblogging site Twitter.
At least four persons were killed and over a dozen suffered burn injuries in a fire in a hotel in Jammu in the wee hours of the day.
“My condolences to the families of those killed in the hotel fire in Jammu today and prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured,” Omar added. (AGENCIES)
