JAMMU, Dec 27: A 90-year-old man was killed today in a road mishap in RS Pura area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a pedestrian identified as Dina Ram (90) son of Choor Singh, a resident of Tohana Tibba (RS Pura), was hit and left seriously injured by an unknown motorbike near his residence, this evening.
The injured man was immediately shifted to Community Health Centre RS Pura but later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conduction autopsy tomorrow. The concerned police has registered a case in this connection and started investigations.
