JAMMU, Aug 10: A 60-year old man died mysteriously in Ranibagh area falling under the jurisdiction of police station Satwari.
According to a police spokesperson, the old man identified as Lok Nath son of Nain Sukh, a resident of Narwal Pain, was found lying in an unconscious condition in a seasonal nullah in Ranibagh area, late last night.
The matter came to light around midnight following which the family members rushed him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The body of the deceased was today handed over to his legal heirs for last rites after completing all medico-legal formalities. A case in this regard has been registered at police station Satwari under 174 CrPC.
