KATHUA, Aug 2: A team of officers constituted on the directives of Deputy Commissioner, Kathua today conducted detailed inspection of private schools in Zone Barnoti of district Kathua. The team conducted inspection of private schools in Zone Barnoti of district Kathua .
The team comprising of Chief Education Officer, Kathua, Assistant Controller, Legal Metrology Kathua and Assistant Labour Commissioner, Kathua today conducted inspection of private schools in Zone Barnoti of district Kathua.
The team conducted inspection of two schools Minerva Public School and Kartar Public School at Barnoti. During the inspection, the team found that in violation of Government directives the management of these schools are collecting transportation charges for the entire July month whereas the schools were opened on July 22 after Summer vacations.
The team warned to initiate action against the management of both the schools under relevant acts and rules. The team said that there are clear cut instructions from the Chairman Pay Fixation Committee vide his No FFC/RF 19/3212 dated 3-6-2019 that the transport fee is to be charged on actual basis. The team has instructed the other private schools of Kathua district not to charge transportation fee for the vacation period and refund the same if it has been charged by the school management.
