Apropos straight Talk in DE (Aug.6) by K B Jandial on strength of Jammu people. It was his informative work analyzing the historical roots and agitations of Jammu people for their rights or to say”denied rights”.They were the same people(in reference to your BJP ministerial remarks)who were on streets for six decades looking for some space in Jammu but it seems that they were never born to deliver but to criticize only .In their normal political discourse as in other states, a leadership is missing in J&K compounding the complex situation.
It is unfortunate that our so called guardians of Jammu region are weighing our protest vis-a-vis Kashmir. We,actually cannot protest as Kashmiris do. We don,t indulge in stone pelting, nor do we harass our security forces who make our living safer. But to understand values of each region we need to have ministers who are politically matured and educated.
