JAMMU, July 26: Mr Anirudh, MLA from Shimla today visited Surankote Assembly Constituency as observer of All India Congress Committee (AICC).
Various deputations of Sarpanchs, Youth Congress, NSUI and Seva Dal met the observer. Delegations from all the communities met the observer and demanded that the youth should be given an opportunity to represent them in upcoming LA elections.
There were only two main names which got attention for the mandate of Congress party from this Assembly segment namely Shahnawaz Choudhary, currently the State president of Youth Congress and the other Akram Choudhary.
The people demanded change and also demanded the mandate to be given to a young, dynamic, energetic and experienced youth leader.
