OBC Morcha protests against Sidhu, torches his effigy

JAMMU, Nov 21: BJP OBC Morcha staged a protest against Punjab State Congress president, Navjot Singh Sidhu at Tawi bridge , near JDA ground ,here, today against his derogatory statement and giving a clean chit to Pakistan.
The protestors while taking serious exception to Sidhu’s statement made yesterday stating that Pakistani PM is just like his elder brother and all borders should be opened with Pak.
The protesters who were led by BJP OBC Morcha president Braham Jyot Satti burnt effigy of Sidhu and called him ” Pakistani agent ” . They raised slogans against him also.
BJP OBC Morcha State team dignitaries Neelam Virdhi, vice president , Madan Gopal Toni, general secretary, Sunil Prajapati publicity secretary, Ravi Mehra, office secretary, Rajesh Dogra office secretary also took part in the protest.
Kewal Verma district president Jammu West, BJP OBC Morcha along with his team members also participated in the protest.
While interacting with media protestors condemned the derogatory statement of Navjot Singh Sidhu and said Congress party always played with the national interests and these kind of statements are not tolerable by Indians.
Speaking on the occasion, Braham Jyot said Sidhu’s statement is highly objectionable and shameful.
He said a large number of Indian soldiers have sacrificed their lives in cowardly attacks by Pakistani terrorists, and Sidhu has given a clean chit to Pak which is shameful.
