OBC Mahasabha takes out Mashal rally

JAMMU, Mar 23: OBC (Other Backward Classes) Mahasabha organized its eighth Mashal Rally in support of its demand of complete 27 percent reservation to OBC and neglect of the communities by the Government.
Raising slogans against the Coalition Government the members of OBC Mahasabha assembled at the headquarters of Kashyap Rajput Sabha and started torch light procession to City Chowk after passing through Raj Tilak Road, Purani Mandi and Old Hospital Road.
While addressing the gathering at City Chowk the leaders of OBC Mahasabha criticized the leaders of National Conference and Congress who ruled the State for usurping the share of OBC categories on the name of false and fabricated groups. They added that OBC Advisory Board created by Government in the year 2009 has proved to be a “Lollypoop” as nothing on ground has happened.
They highlighted various burning demands of the communities coming under the aegis of OBC Mahasabha.
Prominent among those who led the rally and also addressed the same included Kasturi Lal Basotra, MadanLal Dogra, Ayudhya Kumar Manawa, Romesh Angotra, Bansi Lal Chowdhary (convenor), Mohan Lal Pawar, Ram Sanyasi, Dharam Paulk, Tirth Ram, Anil Kashyap, Chaman Lal, Veena Kumari, Vaishno Devi and scores of other leaders.
