JAMMU, Nov 2: All J&K OBC Mahasabha has decided to organize a ‘Shardanjali Samaroh’ for paying respect to former MLA from the community, Hans Raj Dogra on November 6 here.
In a meeting of the OBC Mahasabha held here today under the chairmanship of ML Pawar and Bansi Lal Choudhary (Covenor), the members resolved to organize a function on November 6, 2016 to pay floral tributes to Late Hans Raj Dogra, former MLA Jammu West at Ambphalla near HP Petrol Pump Jammu to mark 11th death anniversary of Mr Dogra. It was also decided to project strongly the issue of 27 % reservation in favour of OBC community as recommended by the Mandal Commission and implemented in other States. They said Mr Dogra raised voice of OBCs strongly in the State Assembly and was founder Member of BJP, erstwhile Jan Sangh.
Mangat Ram, Ravi Kumar Dogra, Ashok Kumar Manni, Sunil Kashyap, Sanjay Sanotra and others also attended the meeting.
