JAMMU, Mar 13: The Indian Institute of Management Jammu concluded the Nurturing Future Leadership Program (NFLP) – Batch 17, conducted under the aegis of the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme, with a valedictory ceremony held at Jagti Campus.
Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean, Faculty and Research, IIM Jammu presided over the valedictory ceremony, which was graced by the Programme directors, Prof Prashant Mishra, and Dr Ateeque Shaikh.
The five-day programme held from 9th to 13th March 2026 brought together faculty members and academic professionals from various higher educational institutions, aiming to strengthen leadership capabilities, pedagogical innovation, and academic excellence among educators. The programme focused on equipping participants with contemporary management perspectives, effective leadership skills, and transformative teaching practices to enhance the overall quality of higher education in India.
Prof Jabir Ali remarked that the programme should not be seen as a closure but as the beginning of a new journey of collaboration and learning. He noted that the programme was not a conventional teaching model; rather, it was designed with inputs from several faculty members to provide diverse perspectives and meaningful takeaways for the participants.
Prof. Prashant Mishra, Programme Director, and Chairperson, Executive Education and Consultancy, IIM Jammu, presented the programme report and highlighted the key learnings and outcomes of the five-day programme.
