Nursing teachers frame body, highlight demands

JAMMU, Oct 3: Nursing teachers today framed their body and projected their demands.
A meeting of BSc/MSc Nursing tutors was held today at Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation Office Jammu under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan, president, Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF), Jammu Province and framed a body under the name and style of Jammu Kashmir Nursing Teachers Employees Association.
The office bearers of the newly formed body are Gurjeet Kour (president), Suriya Jabeen Malik (senior vice president), Sambhawana (vice-president), Nishi Mishra (advisor), Koshal Kumari (general secretary), Bindu Sharma (joint secretary), Basant Kour (publicity secretary), Sushma Sharma (office secretary), Maya Devi (organizer urban), Swarn Mukhi (organizer rural), Vijay Rekha (cashier) and Sanju Raju (chief organizer).
The meeting also discussed and highlighted demands of the Nursing teachers. The main demands discussed were promotion on the posts as Principal and Vice Principal at ANMT/GNM School as per the strict seniority from Senior Tutors as per INC Rules, confirmation of trained Nursing staff deputed as tutor and do away with merger of ANMT Schools in GNM School.
