Nukkad play ‘Apuni Soch Badlo’ staged

JAMMU, July 15: ‘Ek Sath Rang Mandal’ in collaboration with Vikram Jamwal Foundation here today staged Vijay Malla’s new progressive nukkad play ‘Apuni Soch Badlo’.
The play was regarding awareness about drug addiction.
The play started with slogans and title song against drug addiction and revolves around Vishal-an unemployed youth trying his best for getting a job but is depressed and demoralized with frustration.
He takes help of some cheap drugs and becomes addict as drugs give him some temporary solace and relief.
His parents are much worried for their son and they try their best to convince him to shun addiction.
Finally, Shanker Das, a senior member of a Welfare Society gives strong counselling to Vishal saying that addiction is not solution for ones failures and miseries.
Das further asks Vishal to have patience and strong will to face troubles of life.
Convinced Vishal finally realises his mistake and decides not to indulge in drug addiction in future.
Artists who acted in the play were Kanta Sharma, Dr. Ripu Daman Parihar, Rahul Dev, Raju Mad, Ashok Sharma, Kanav Sharma, Happy Gupta and Vijay Malla.
The play was written and directed by Vijay Malla.
