Nukkad Natak series concludes with 40th show

JAMMU, Aug 30: In a first kind of its Nukkad Natak series in the history of Jammu and Kashmir theatre, initiated  by the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages, wherein 106 Nukkad shows were organised in a  three series since  Feb, 2018.
The shows were performed by the various theatre groups of the Jammu region.
The performer group presented a Nukkad Natak namely “Nashakhri” written  by Basant Viogi and  directed  Urja Singh wherein the seasoned artists of the group threw light on the deadly  affects of the addiction of various kinds prevailing in the society especially among the youth of our society.
The play further revealed that Drug interact with the brain and body to alter moods and emotions and also break the relationship among  the friends and family and  relatives,  due to the  changing brain chemistry and also the perception of the person who is drug addicted. The artists who performed in the Nukkad  play were Urja Singh, Shilpa, Vishali Lalotra, Vijay Kumar, Mukesh Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Shekher and Ankush.
Dr Sudhir SDI, JAKACCl was the overall incharge of all the series and conducted these very successfully and befitting manners.
