Nuclear capable, long range ballistic missile ‘Agni IV’ test fired successfully

BALASORE: India today successfully test fired the nuclear capable most advanced long range ballistic missile system “Agni-4” from a Road Mobile launcher from the Wheelers’ Island off the Odisha coast.

Scientists from the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) as well as officials from the Ministry of Defence were present at the launch complex.

The  launch was carried out by Strategic Force Command (SFC) and it was a complete success fulfilling all mission objectives, said sources.

The missile, had a text book trajectory and reached the pre-designated target in the international waters of Bay of Bengal. (AGENCIES)
