JAMMU, Sept 3: Demanding online budget showing expenditures and receipts of Jammu University, the NSUI activists today held a massive protest on the campus.
Shouting slogans in support of their demand, the protesting students also gheroed the Registrar, who later assured the students that online budget would be introduced within 24 hours on official website of JU.
Alleging corruption in JU from top to bottom, the NSUI activists also accused the Vice-Chancellor of paying no heed to the grievances of the students.
The protesting students were also addressed by some NSUI activists, who included Neeraj Kundan, Naseeb Ali, Ajay Kumar, Avijot Singh, Kamal Magotra, Aman Thapa, Manpreet Malothra, Ranjot Singh, Sunny Parihar, Nishant Gupta, Danish Puri, Satyam Sharma, Raghav Malhotra, Rishi Gupta, Tahir Hussain and others.
