JAMMU, Dec 26: Agitated over reports of mass copying in the SSB examination for Graduation level posts on Friday, activists of National Students Union of India (NSUI) held a strong protest demonstration in front of the Services Selection Board, Central Office, Bahu Plaza, here today.
The protesting NSUI activists raised slogans against J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB) as well as the Education Minister and also torched an effigy of the State Government.
The protest was led by Fairoz Khan, national secretary NSUI, Neeraj Kundan State president NSUI and Ajay Kumar national delegate NSUI.
Addressing the students, Fairoz Khan criticized the SSB authorities for their failure to keep a check on mass copying in the exam. “There are also reports of question paper leakage and this has raised a serious question mark on the standard of JKSSB, he added.
Neeraj Kundan alleged complete administrative failure of the Government and its State recruitment agency.
Ajay Kumar, Saleem Choudhary, Ranjeet Thakur, Rahul Pandita, Kuldeep, Ajaz Ahmad, Shabir, Imran Katoch, Narender Sharma and others also addressed the protest demonstration.
