JAMMU, Feb 16: Activists of NSUI today held a strong protest demonstration against the alleged attempts of BJP, ABVP and RSS to defame JNU.
Shouting slogans against these organizations, the protesting NSUI activists also torched an effigy of saffron brigade.
While addressing the protest demonstration, Neeraj Kundan, State president of NSUI, condemned the anti national activities of handful of JNU students and demanded action against the culprits. Instead of taking action on these culprits, the BJP Government is trying to defame the whole JNU of 8500 students for playing politics on it, he said and alleged that the saffron organizations were deliberately misguiding the people of India on stand of Rahul Gandhi on it.
The protest demonstration was also addressed by Raqeeb Khan, Ajay Kumar and others.
