NSUI demands re-conduct of NEET examination

JAMMU, May 10: Alleging that the concerned authorities misbehaved with the some candidates and did  not allow them to appear in the NEET examination on May 6, NSUI today demanded re-conduct of the Medical entrance of affected candidates.
“The authorities appointed to conduct entrance in various schools, raised objection against the students wearing religious symbols and did not allow them to sit in the exam,” alleged NSUI State secretary Nishant Gupta, while addressing a press conference, here today.
Warning that NSUI will not tolerate such acts, which may trigger communal tension, he urged the authorities to re-conduct NEET examination and ensure that future of those students is not spoiled.
“If the Government fails to conduct examination again, NSUI will stage protests on roads,” he announced adding that the NEET authorities have violated fundamental right of the candidate.
