JAMMU, Jan 3: Criticizing Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (SSB) authorities for mass mal-practices and leakage of papers in the recently held exam for various graduation level posts, the National Student Union of India (NSUI) State unit demanded a CBI probe and suspension of the chairman.
Addressing a press conference here today, State NSUI president Neeraj Kundan said that the prevailing condition in the whole State is alarming and the State Government is in deep slumber.
Mr Kundan, who was flanked by Firoz Khan, national secretary NSUI, demanded a CBI probe into the episode of recruitment examination on December 25, 2015. The NSUI leader further said that NSUI is going to organise a massive `Lalkar rally’ on the main campus of Jammu University and would further intensify the agitation at district level if the demands are not met. They demanded cancellation of paper for Graduate level posts which was held on Dec 25, re-examination of the said paper, issuance of roll numbers before 15 days of the exam, the center should be at the district level and should be allotted only in Government institutions and the examination for the Divisional and State cadre should be held separately.
