NSUI conducts signature campaign for one man one post norm in JU

JAMMU, May 12: Continuing its struggle for one man one post norm in Jammu University, the National Students Union of India (NSUI) today conducted a signature campaign in support of the demand.
During the campaign, which was held on JU campus, a large number of students put their signatures with the comments regarding this issue. Members of NSUI State committee and Pradesh Youth Congress took active part in the campaign and extended their whole-hearted support for the cause.
Neeraj Kundan, NSUI State president and Nitin Bakshi, NSUI president for JU unit, exhorted the students to come forward against the wrong doings of JU administration and fight for overall welfare of the institution.
The collection of signatures was submitted to Dean Academic Affairs, JU, who received the same on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor. The NSUI also served an ultimatum of two more days to the JU authorities to fulfill their demand on one man one post or face an agitation.
The student leaders who actively participated in the signature campaign, included; Amjad Bhatt, Kamal Magotra, Avjyot Singh, Choudhary Naseeb Ali and Naresh Digra.
