JAMMU, Aug 2: The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) staged a protest against the Modi Government alleging the government’s involvement in spying on the people of India.
The student organisation staged a mock performance in front of the Shastri Bhavan, impersonating Modi and Shah. The whole row over the Israeli agency Pegasus was enacted showing how the Indian government opened doors for a foreign agency endangering the safety and security of the country. The State president of Delhi, Kunal Sherawat and Delhi Incharge, Nitish Gaur staged this protest under the leadership of the National president, Neeraj Kundan.
He said this is the most embarrassing act by any government in the independent history of our country. This isn’t just another scam, but also a pre planned attack on all four pillars of our democracy. The Modi Government has targeted the legislature, the executive and even our media and our judiciary. This is crossing of all the limits as the Modi Government has moved from ‘controlling the institutions’ to ‘spying on them’. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has rightly pointed out that there could be no other word for this other than ‘Treason’.”
