JAMMU, Sept 28: National Secular Forum (NSF) has threatened to launch an agitation over some issues concerning scholars and educated unemployed youth.
Chairing a meeting of NSF, its president Sukhdev Singh said that in Jammu University, various posts were lying vacant for the last so many years, which need to be fulfilled up.
He also demanded that all PhD and M Phil scholars should be given Rs 15,000 and Rs 12000 per month, respectively, besides preference to them in PSC selection process.
Singh said that self attestation by the students to fill various forms should be entertained and all the appointments in the Central University should be from Jammu.
Among others who were present in the meeting included Barket Tahir, Ajaz Shah, Qayoom Malik, J B Singh, Amit Sanotra,Vijay Kumar, Anees Charak, Balbinder Singh, Zulfi Singh, Pawan Kumar, Hari Kumar and Bhupinder Singh.
