JAMMU, June 13: National Secular Forum today accused the Higher Education Department of applying two yardsticks to engage contractual Asstt Professors in University of Jammu and Govt Degree Colleges.
“While those engaged by JU are being allowed to work on full wages, the College teachers have been reduced to work as guest facility from contractual job, thus discriminating and treating well educated persons with step motherly touch,” said Dr Vikas Sharma, State President NSF.
Dr Vikas appealed the Lt Governor that whole gamut of contractual employment in University of Jammu, being continued even after academic session is over as well as needless re-employment of retired professor in DDE, needs to be investigated by independent agency so as to put a stop on open loot of Govt money.
