ISLAMABAD/NEW DELHI : Adviser to the Pakistan Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz said in Islamabad today that he would visit New Delhi for the NSAs talks on terrorism on August 23.
”I can confirm that I will be going to India on August 23,” English daily Dawn quoted Mr Sartaj Aziz as saying this at a news conference.
However, official sources in New Delhi said that they had received no confirmation from Pakistan yet.
Several question marks had been developed over the fate of the NSAs talks after a series violations of ceasefire and terrorist attacks in Gurdaspur and Udhampur over which the two countries traded charges against each other which vitiated the atmosphere.
