NPSU to kick start ‘Restore AIIMS back to Jammu’ signature campaign

JAMMU, June 12: Lambasting the ruling BJP-PDP combine for grossly failing on all fronts and administering a series of severe discriminatory dozes to Jammu region, Thakur Virender Singh State president, NPSU held the saffron party culpable for inflicting a big dent upon Dogra’s pride by cowardly surrendering before its coalition partner on all its grandiloquent pre-poll slogans and its solemn pledges made to the people of Jammu ahead of Assembly elections.
In a press conference at the party head quarters here on Friday, Virender Thakur disclosed that Jammu people who were expecting something fierce and volcanic from the saffron party were utterly hoodwinked and deceived with the frozen BJP leadership which pusillanimously succumbed before the PDP for mere political gains only to treacherously betray the mandate and aspirations of the people of Jammu region.
Thakur asserted that the BJP has grossly failed on all the fronts with its servile stand and the seething anger and outrage among the people would soon close the curtains for the saffron brigade sitting at the helm of the affairs.
He announced that NPSU shall kick start series of signature campaign all across the Jammu Province endorsing “Restore AIIMS back to Jammu” from next week onwards.
He maintained that the agitation which was spear headed by the chairman JKNPP Harsh Dev Singh shall now be intensified by launching this campaign and NPSU will leave no stone unturned to ensure the retention of the Rs 1600 crores premier health edifice back to Jammu Pradesh.
