NPP to protest outside Parliament on AIIMS issue

JAMMU, June 16: J&K National Panthers Party has resolved to hold protest demonstration outside Parliament on June 18.
While  urging upon the people of Jammu region to lend their whole hearted support to the movement for restoration of AIIMS to Jammu, NPP chairman and former Minister Harshdev Singh today said that BJP shall never be allowed to surrender the premier Health Institute sanctioned for Jammu, to Kashmir at any cost. Announcing the resolution of the JKNPP to carry the `fight for Jammu’ slogan, Harshdev said that  protest demonstrations would continue to be held in various districts and tehsil headquarters to create awareness amongst the common masses regarding the perpetuation of bias against Jammu region by BJP-PDP Govt.
He also announced the NPP’s schedule to hold demonstration outside Parliament House, New Delhi from Thursday June 18, for restoration of AIIMS and BJP’s cowardly surrenders on various issues. He said that Jammu’s cause shall reverberate in the streets of New Delhi with Panthers Party organizing rallies in the Union capital to expose BJP’s betrayal with the people of this region.
Balwant Singh Mankotia State president and Yash Pal Kundal State president Young Panthers also spoke on the occasion.
