NPP protests over dilapidated condition of Akhnoor-Jourian road

JAMMU, Jan 21: National Panthers Party (NPP) held a protest over dilapidated condition of Akhnoor-Jourian road for the past so many years which has made the life of common man miserable and also causing inconvenience to the vehicular traffic and general commuters.
The activists of NPP and locals led by Anita Thakur, general secretary NPP, Pushvinder Singh Manhas, senior vice president Young Panthers and Gagan Pratap Singh, spokesman Young Panthers raised slogans against the Government for not paying any heed toward the said road.
The NPP leaders made the people aware that the reorganization of entire State is the only way out to the present turmoil whereby every region will enjoy separate legislative, financial, and economic power.
Addressing the gathering, Pushvinder Singh Manhas apprised the general public that the people have democratically elected their representatives but they have miserably failed to stand up to the expectations of the people.
If the grievances of the people of the Akhnoor are not addressed at the earliest, NPP will launch an indefinite agitation, he added.
Among others present were , Atul Sudan, Gourav Bhatia, Neeraj Sharma, Vikram Singh, Gulchain Singh and Sumit Magotra.
