JAMMU, Jan 2: Condemning the recent ‘Fidayeen attack’ on CRPF Training Centre at Letpora in Pulwama during which five security personnel were martyred besides the fast deteriorating situation in J&K due to BJP-PDP coalition’s gross failures and mal-governance, National Panthers Party  activists led by its chairman Harsh Dev Singh staged a strong protest demonstration at Exhibition Ground here  today.
The angry protestors set ablaze the effigy of the State Govt and sought immediate imposition of the Governor’s rule in the State to save it from further death and destruction.
Later, addressing the media,  Harsh Dev said that the terror attacks in the State had become a routine affair with no virtual sign of governance but anarchy all across the State. Eulogizing the courage and valour of the martyred brave hearts who foiled the nefarious attack of JeM militants at the CRPF Training Centre, he said that the security forces successfully eliminated the militants who had stormed into the camp and averted the possibility of a heavy casualty.

Recalling similar ‘Fidayeen attack’ at District Police Lines Pulwama in August last year during which 8 security personnel were martyred and 5 had been injured, he said that the situation had deteriorated in J&K due to the coalition’s surrender to the dictates of secessionists in the Valley. “Deadly terror attack on IAF Station at Pathankot in January 2016 by JeM militants, left 7 security personnel and 1 civilian killed besides 20 injured. Likewise, another Fidayeen attack executed by JeM militants on Army Brigade Headquarters at Uri in Sept 2016 rocked the entire nation in which 17 soldiers were martyred and scores had sustained grievous injuries. Two months later, LeT militants attacked Army camp at Nagrota in November 2016 during which 7 soldiers were martyred but the State Govt failed to learn from its past mistakes,”  Harsh lamented.
Referring to the brutal terror attack on the bus of Amarnath yatris in Kashmir on July 10 last year which left 8 people killed and 18 people injured, Harsh Dev said that such dastardly acts had exposed the anti-national and communal psyche of the secessionist forces and subversives who were hell bent to vitiate the peace and tranquility of the State.
Harsh Dev unemployment and underemployment had soared all time high in the State with contractual lecturers, ReTs, NRHM workers, MGNREGA employees, etc. had been languishing and protesting in open for their genuine demands.
