JAMMU, Apr 26: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today held protest against the Chinese incursions in Ladakh region of the State.
Amid slogans, hundreds of NPP activists, led by its State president and MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia, assembled at Press Club, held protest and burnt the flag of China.
While speaking, Balwant Singh Mankotia said they strongly oppose the forthcoming visit of Chinese Prime Minister to India. China should first withdraw the troops from our territory and then come to India, Mankotia said.
The people are feeling insecure because of the repeated incursions by Chinese troops. We urge the Centre to take measures to check the aggressive postures of China, he added.
Mankotia said a concrete strategy should be evolved to counter the repeated intrusion of China as well as other neighboring nations who have taken Indians for granted.
