NPP only hope of people from Jammu region: Harsh

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Dec 23:  Lambasting the Coalition Government for breakdown of developmental machinery in the State with complete neglect of rural and remote areas of the State, chairman of NPP Harshdev Singh today appealed the people to raise their voice against the gross betrayals and multiple failures of the incumbent Government.
Addressing public meetings at Chanunta, Panj Grain and Badhote in Ramnagar today Mr Singh said that with empty coffers, huge liabilities of contractors, unpaid wages of DRWs, SPOs, ReTs, contractual besides other categories of employees and paralysed development, the year 2015 was indicative of baleful beginning for the present dispensation with hardly any ray of hope for the future. He said that people of Jammu region all over were feeling betrayed and cheated due to the fake promises, false assurances and empty sloganeering of the coalition partners.
Lampooning the much proclaimed slogans of “good governance”, “Corruption Free Government” and “development” given by the BJP-PDP coalition, Harshdev alleged that Govt had miserably failed on these fronts. He said that there was no sign of development on the ground and corruption had engulfed the system like the bubonic plague. He said that there was hardly any visible sign of the Govt with its only achievement being the pre mature transfer orders of thousands of Govt functionaries issued within a short span of nine months.
NPP leader said that while the PDP held the reins of Govt with all major decisions being taken by it unilaterally, the BJP Ministers were content with the two flags flying on their vehicles. He said that the BJP MLAs and ministers had rendered themselves as objects of ridicule by their imbecility and  second fiddle role in the Govt. He said that gullible electorates who had been cajoled and mesmerized by the lofty slogans and false promises of the BJP during elections had recognized the real face of BJP and were anxiously looking for an alternative to teach the Saffron Party a lesson.
Others who spoke on the occasion included  Baldev Singh- Sarpanch Chanunta,  Bodh Raj- Sarpanch,  Bishan Dass -Sarpanch Panjgrain and  Hans Raj- Sarpanch Birnu.
