JAMMU, Mar 16: National Panthers Party MLA from Udhampur, Balwant Singh Mankotia today staged walk-out over the failure of the State Government to construct road, which got damaged at Chobu nullah recently.
Raising supplementary to the question of BJP MLA Jugal Kishore, the NPP MLA said that Minister for R&B, Abdul Majid Wani had conducted the aerial survey of the cut-off area but till date no step has been initiated to construct the damaged road despite the fact that there was no road connectivity to about 100 villages.
Congress MLA from Chenani, Krishan Chander Bhagat also raised the same issue and demanded that road connectivity to 100 villages should be restored immediately by reconstructing damaged road at Chobu nullah in Panchari block.
After protesting over the issue for some time, National Panthers Party MLA staged walk-out.
