JAMMU, May 21: The activists of J&K National Panthers Party led by  Neeraj Gupta,  Zonal president of the party along with other workers and local people held a massive protest demonstration against BJP-PDP Govt and Jammu West MLA Sat Sharma  at Ward No. 37  Janipur Colony here today.
The NPP workers were shouting slogans against BJP MLA for his attitude of total neglect.  They alleged that  condition of roads and lanes is worst and the local MLAs Sat Sharma has shut his eyes over the plight of the people.
Neeraj Gupta alleged that this protest is against the worst condition of roads and sewerage in the Jammu West especially Janipur, Lakad Mandi, Indira Colony, Sarwal, Patoli,  Rehari etc and also against the JMC, ERA and NBCC for their  incapability to perform its work efficiently. He said that the sitting MLA of Jammu West Sat Sharma CA is in deep slumber  and having no time to visit his constituency and listen to the grievances of the general public.
Due to worst conditions of the road there is always an apprehension of the mishappenings which may even claim the life of an innocent. It is not possible for even an ordinary and fit person to walk through a road having such a worst condition. Since from the day one the ruling party has shown no interest in the development of the Jammu.  Although it is very unfortunate to have such leaders who has taken for granted the people of Jammu, but this fate will definitely be changed in the next elections.
He said people demand the repair of roads  and that should be done with immediate effect and no work should be allotted for digging the pits on the road before the completion of the work allotted earlier.
