BHADERWAH, Apr 5: Bhaderwah Police has taken a notorious drug peddler into preventive custody and lodged him in District Jail Bhaderwah.
As per police sources, a number of complaints were being received at Police Station Bhaderwah regarding involvement of a notorious drug peddler namely Sadam Hussain alias Sanam Punchi, son of Ali Mohammad of Chanote Bhaderwah in drugs peddling in Bhaderwah town and its peripheries.
Acting upon the complaints, a detailed report of his involvement in drugs peddling was prepared and a team of Police Station Bhaderwah led by SHO Inspector Jatinder Singh Rakwal arrested this notorious drugs peddler and produced him before the Executive Magistrate 1st Class Bhaderwah, who sent him to District Jail Bhaderwah under preventive detention.
