DODA, Mar 25: Police here today arrested one absconder evading arrest for the last four years.
Giving details in this regard Police sources informed that the absconder Sartaj Ahmed Dar, son of Nazir Ahmed Dar, resident of Korigam, Tehsil Qazigund, District Kulgam, Kashmir was involved in a case of FIR No. 159/2018 U/S 8/20/27-A/29 NDPS Act, registered at Police Station Doda and warrant U/S 512 CrPC was issued against him from the Additional Session Court Doda on December 3, 2018.
Police launched a massive hunt and also cultivated sources for generating information about the movement and presence of the absconder to track him.
A Police team of Police Station Doda arrested the absconder from Qazigund, Kulgam and produced him before the Court in Doda.
