JAMMU, July 5: Domana police under “Operation Sanjeevani” arrested a notorious drug peddler along with heroin.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Domana police station laid a naka and apprehended a drug peddler along with 12 grams heroin.
The accused has been identified as Saif Ali alias Sainfu (32), son of Hassan Ali, a resident of Sangrampur, District Jammu.
With the arrest of the accused, Domana police has achieved a major success to save the youth from becoming drug addicts.
A case under FIR Number 212/17 under Section 8/21/22 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against the accused at police station Domana and investigation started to ascertain the sources of the consignment.
Police team led by SHO Domana Inspector Rattan Singh Rana made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Varinder Singh Kattal and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
