JAMMU, Nov 1: Bagh-e-Bahu police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a notorious drug peddler along with ganja.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station laid a naka and arrested a notorious drug peddler along with 5 kilograms of ganja.
The arrested person has been identified as Sunny Rao, son of Dharmender Rao, a resident of Odisha, at present Gangyal.
With the arrest of drug peddler, police achieved a major success to save the youth from becoming drug addicts.
A case under FIR Number 82/17 under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment.
Police team led by SHO Bagh-e-Bahu Inspector Satish Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Arun Jamwal and SP South Sandeep Choudhary.
