Notorious drug peddler arrested with ganja

JAMMU, Oct 11: Narwal police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a notorious drug peddler along with ganja.
As per police sources, on credible information, a team from Narwal Police Post laid a naka and apprehended a notorious drug peddler along with 2 kilograms of ganja.
The arrested person has been identified as Kishor Pradhan, son of Trinath Pradhan, a resident of Orissa, at present Narwal.
A case under FIR Number 237/17 under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Bahu Fort Police Station and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment.
Police team led by Incharge Narwal Police Post SI Vikram Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Bharat Sharma, SDPO East Arun Jamwal and SP South Sandeep Choudhary.
