JAMMU, May 17: District Magistrate (DM) Jammu booked a notorious criminal under Public Safety Act.
As per official spokesman, DM Jammu booked a notorious criminal Baber Khan, son of Ghulam Nabi Khan of Bhagwati Nagar Jammu under PSA so as prevent his further involvement in criminal activities.
The accused was involved in 6 cases of heinous nature including attempt to murder, extortion, snatching, stabbing, burglary and possessing/using of dangerous weapons registered with different police stations of district Jammu.
He has been lodged in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu.
The PSA warrant was executed by SHO Nowabad Police Station Inspector Neeraj Bhagat under the supervision of SDPO West Pranav Mahajan and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
