JAMMU, Dec 1: A major criminal activity was averted today by Bishnah police by arresting a notorious criminal with a sharp edged weapon.
On specific inputs, a special police team of police station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh laid a naka and rounded up the criminal namely Raman Kumar son of Bodh Raj, resident of village Pindi Kathar, tehsil Arnia of Jammu district. During search, a sharp edged weapon was recovered from the accused.
In this connection, a case FIR No 174/2021 under Section 4/25 A Act was registered at police station Bishnah and the accused was arrested. It is pertinent to mention that accused was a notorious criminal and was earlier also involved in many cases.
Further investigation of the case was going on. The arrest and recovery was made under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabbir Khan.
