KISHTWAR, Jan 21: Atholi Police arrested a notorious bootlegger.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Atholi led by SHO Inspector Vikas Jasrotia under the supervision of SDPO Atholi Vikram Singh conducted raid and recovered 40 litres and 10 bottles of illicit liquor and arrested one person.
The arrested person has been identified as Tenzin Youndan, son of Tsering Dawa, a resident of Kabban, at present Ghulabgarh District Kishtwar.
It is pertinent to mention here that the arrested person was a notorious bootlegger of the area.
A case FIR Number 02/2022 under Section 48 (a) (f) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Atholi and investigation taken up.
