THIRUVANATHAPURAM: Congress leader and MP Shashi Tharoor, today said he has nothing to hide over the death of his wife Sunanda Pushkar.
Reacting to reports in a new English Channel, Mr Tharoor said he had nothing to hide and had fully cooperated with the police in the investigation into the death of his wife on January 14, 2014. ”So far, there is no conclusion that if any murder occurred,” he added.
”Let the police conclude their probe and approach the court,” he said. He said ”media can be a witness but it cannot turn into a prosecutor, judge and executor and this particular news channel was trying to do this”.
The channel came out with audio tapes which purported to show that the body of Pushkar was moved from one place to another at Leela Palace Hotel in New Delhi on the night of her death. (AGENCIES)
