Srinagar, July 5: Kashmiri Pandits today said that the State and Centre have failed in facilitating their return to Kashmir while alleging that political parties have ‘enchased’ on their sufferings.
The Common Kashmiri Pandits, a KP Organization working for return of Pandits, said that they have been ignored by the State and the Centre all along and are willing to come back. “We are 5000 years old inhabitants of Kashmir and we became the victims of State-sponsored genocide,” said Satish Mahaldar while addressing a press conference here.
“While the political parties have enchased on our plight, the international organizations have turned a deaf ear towards our plight,” he added.

Mahaldar said that they came to Kashmir and talked to political leaders and local brethren. “We are willing to come back to the valley; we also interacted with APHC, they have condemned the 1990 episode,” he said.
He said that the APHCs Executive Body has assured them that they will fight for the rights that have been denied to Kashmiri Pandits. “We cannot forget Kashmir, it is our soul. State and Centre have failed in addressing our concerns regarding our rehabilitation. We have been suppressed, enough is enough we now want to come back,” he said.
