KATHUA, Oct 5: Maintaining that Kotli, Mirpur, Muzafarabad, Sharda Peeth, Gilgit Baltistan belong to India and they are under forcible occupation of Pakistan, the National Executive Member, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Indresh Kumar today said that there is a national resolve to retrieve all these areas from clutches of Pakistan.
Addressing a function, while inaugurating the second floor of the Bharatiya Vidya Mandir, Higher Secondary School, Hiranagar near here, today run by Bharatiya Shiksha Samiti (BSS) Jammu & Kashmir, the RSS leader said that the borders of India will not be decided by any superpower like US, Russia and China but India itself.
He said there is a national commitment to get all these areas freed from Pakistan which are under its forcible occupation and a joint resolution has already been passed by both houses of Indian Parliament 1994 in this regard.
The RSS leader said as he was repeatedly saying for last over four decades that Article 370 and 35 A are temporary provisions of Indian Constitution and they have to go and with the passage of time both these Articles were abrogated to pave way for the development and progress of the erstwhile J&K State. Likewise the day will come when entire PoJK will retrieved from forcible occupation of Pakistan, he added.
The RSS leader who had launched a movement for liberation of Sharda Peeth and was the brain behind establishment of Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra at Jammu about two decades back said not only Sharda Peeth but Kartarpur Sahib also belongs to India.
He said India’s borders in past were beyond Myamnar, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka but due to our own blunders the borders of the country were squeezed and in 1947 the unfortunate partition also took place due to the blunders of the leaders of that time.
Reiterating that had Article 370 and 35 A so beneficial for the people why the successive governments who misled people on the named of special status for about seven decades could not make it a permanent provision of the Constitution.
Terming Indian philosophy and thought richest in the world, Indresh Kumar said the whole world today looks towards us because India never tried to overpower any country. This is the reason that no country in the world today looks towards main powers but towards India which is the nation of Swami Vivekananda a great philosopher and a revolutionary saint of India.
“We have richest tradition and culture in the world and we never harmed any body but allowed their culture and traditions to flourish also”, he said.
He said this time when world is facing chaos and confusion all countries are looking towards us and not towards super powers because they know that Indian thought and philosophy will bring the world out of present chaos and confusion.
He also accused China for COVID Pandemic saying the nation put entire world into the trouble and chaos.
Maintaining that he had travelled far and wide and every where people praised India and its rich cultural heritage. He said during his visit to Sri Lanka people highly praised India saying the country has richest cultural heritage. “When I asked some prominent people in Sri Lanka that why they did not have any monument on the name of Rawana”, they replied that any person is recognised by his virtues which were in Lord Rama and not Rawan though he was rich and had plenty of Gold.
He also urged the Vidya Bharti to extend its activities in border villages in J&K.
Indresh Kumar said that positive thinking and will power will lead the nation to its destination. The Vidya Bharti School building was constructed by BSS with the support of Arya Foundation (USA) and Ver Savarkar Library with the contribution of ‘HUM’ Trust Mumbai (Maharashtra).
